Celebrating The Day of the Dead has a long history in Mexican Tradition. The Day of the dead is celebrated on November 2nd. Sometime one hears reference to “the days of the Dead” which refers to the Days of October 31 – November 2. During the days of the dead family often visit and decorate the graves of loved ones. Flowers and candles are often used and the favorite foods of the deceased are placed on the grave while the family celebrate the life of the deceased by eating and drinking and telling favourite stories about those who have passed.
